Hi. I am trying to troubleshoot a Windows 2003 print server
as it it is showing heavy traffic and causing the server to
slow down. I removed the color printers as I know that can
cause somewhat of a problem. No go, I also made sure to
reboot the PC, that did not work either. The PC is a
Pentium 4 with tons of memory so it is a brand new PC. I
also stopped and restarted the print spooler. Any suggestions?

What OS are the clients running which connect to the server? Do you have
any WAN connections using modems? Do you support wireless on your network?
How many clients are connecting to the server?

Look in the Computer Management snapin under Shared folders for client
connections. In sessions you can also see how many connections each client
is making to the server.
