I have completed the audio wizard and it shows
the micophone is not working.

My computer has dual OS that are windows 2000 server and windows 2003
sever.under windows 2000, messenger work fine , and i remembered during
audio wizard, it show "enable microphone " step , and then messenger work
fine. before that step, all programs can't get input of microphone .

so windows 2003 need the step , how to call it?

Greetings,

If you mean the portion during the wizard where it asks you to enable your microphone (it
won't ask if it's already been enabled), you can actually do this yourself manually by
clicking Start, then Run, type "sndvol32" and click OK. Then in the Play Control, choose the
Options menu, then Properties, choose the Recording button, make sure Microphone is selected
under the volume controls and click OK. Then make sure that Microphone is the input
selected.
