windows 2003 IE 6.0 closes when I click on the link, but I can surf in same brow

e-mail is (e-mail address removed)
Please help I have a following problem.

1. IE 6.0 on windows 2003 I can surf in the same windows,
but if the link has search field and click on the search
button that instance of browser closes.

example: www.google.com, www.yahoo.com (loads fine no
proble)
I type in someting in search field and click on search,
browser closes without any error messages.

Any help would be great full Thank You.

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
