Windows 2003 allows 2 simultaneous connections (minus the 1 console
connection) for Remote Desktop Administration through Terminal Services
from a client. I wanted to reverse the connection, thus connecting and
either controlling or viewing a user's session on a client from the
server with out interupting the user. I have attempted to implement a
Terminal Server to do so, but I found the solution inefficient since I
can not connect to clients unless I have first established a Remote
Desktop connection to the server then from there establish another
Remote Desktop connection to the desired client.
After some searching I found a simple solution to my above problem:
'Remote Control Add-on for Active Directory Users & Computers'. This
solution requires that I copy file rcontrol.exe to the %windir%
directories on all clients. How would I go upon distributing the file
with out copying the file onto each client manually.
Also, if anyone knows of a better way to implement a Remote Desktop
solution and would be willing to assist me in doing so, that would be
great.
If anything is confusing I will try to restate it. Sorry for the
extense of this post.
