Windows 2003 allows 2 simultaneous connections (minus the 1 console
connection) for Remote Desktop Administration through Terminal Services
from a client. I wanted to reverse the connection, thus connecting and
either controlling or viewing a user's session on a client from the
server with out interupting the user. I have attempted to implement a
Terminal Server to do so, but I found the solution inefficient since I
can not connect to clients unless I have first established a Remote
Desktop connection to the server then from there establish another
Remote Desktop connection to the desired client.

After some searching I found a simple solution to my above problem:
'Remote Control Add-on for Active Directory Users & Computers'. This
solution requires that I copy file rcontrol.exe to the %windir%
directories on all clients. How would I go upon distributing the file
with out copying the file onto each client manually.

Also, if anyone knows of a better way to implement a Remote Desktop
solution and would be willing to assist me in doing so, that would be
great.

If anything is confusing I will try to restate it. Sorry for the
extense of this post.

Thanks,
David L.

One solution that I would suggest is the use of a product called
dameware. So long as you have admin rights to the computer you are
attempting to connect to it will load up the client when you connect
and even remove it when you disconnect (recommended).

To copy the file you suggested I would take a look at kixtart.org or
microsofts scripting center for information on scripting the copy of
the client to you workstations. This could be done in a login script.
Good luck

Bryce
