We have a Windows 2003 Server with SP1. We have installed applications on the
server with no problems until now. I'm logged onto the server as
Administrator, put the installation CD (Pervasive SQL 2000) in the CD drive
and cannot see any of the hidden or system files on the CD. I can see them on
different computers. Here's what I've done so far: changed the folder view
settings to show all files, including protected operating system files,
checked the "Hidden" registry settings, put the CD in another computer,
shared the CD drive and mapped to it from the server, and copied the entire
CD to the server both locally and from anopther computer. I still can't see
those files and install the software on the Win 2003 server. Any help is
truly appreciated - Aidan

Update: I tried renaming one of the files that the Windows 2003 server cannot
see (on a different computer). I renamed _SETUP.DLL to old_SETUP.DLL and was
able to copy it to the serverand see it ion Windows Explorer. I then tried to
rename it to it's original name and got the message "cannot rename
old._SETUP.DLL, a file with the name you specified already exists. specify a
different file name". All suggestions are appreciated - Aidan

Update #2
I ran chkdsk on the c: partition and found no errors. Still can't6 see ot
run _setrup.dll
