I am running Windows 2003 server as my domain controller and I installed the
Win2k3 Adminpak on my Windows XP Pro sp/2 system the other day. When I look
at the "Administrative Tools" on the Start menu and don't see some of the
Admin tools and just wanted to know why? Tools like:

1. Domain Security Policy
2. Domain Controller Security Policy

Can someone tell me why? Thanks for any and all help.

Another admin could have deleted those shortcuts from the Start Menu.

I'm the only Admin and they have never been there even after an uninstall
and re-install.

Hello Lamar,

The Domain Security Policy, Domain Controller Security Policy are only
available locally on domain controllers, how ever actually what this two MMC
snpains are doing is to open the two default group polices.

1. Domain Security Policy = Default Domain Policy, Linked to the domain
node.
2. Domain Controller Security Policy = Default Domain Controllers Policy,
Linked to the Domain Controllers OU

So there is actually no needs for threes tools.
