Account locked out(the administrator)

I just recieved a DELL laptop from my fathers work, i created an account on it(that had the admin privlages) and logged in fine, then i went to bed after logging off, and the next day when i tried to log in, my account was locked out(It was no hooked up to the internet or anything) and i was wondering why that would have happened, so i had my dad try to log in and his account said the exact same thing. Well he was the build-in admin on the computer and so we are completly locked out of this laptop. We do not have any disk to do the system restore or anything. I was wondering if this lock out may be temporary or what not. If there is any easy way to fix it please let me know. Thanks!

Just better hope you are not locked out of the BIOS too, you may need to change boot sequence to reinstall.

I work as a database administrator for the United States Marine Corps and i run into this error quite often where either the administrator or the user or even both accounts are locked out, the only option that I have found that works is a password reset, It is an autorun program and lets you go directly into the disk and view vital system information, it also shows all the accounts that are present on the computer allowing you to blank out the password for the administrator and logging in that way, then changing the password at a later time, i suggest looking into finding a program like this one.

Im thinking of trying your idea haspwinder, but you have any idea where i can get a program like that? (i tried logging onto the guest account but that was disabled) i may just have to go to google. Muckshifter im sorry to say it isnt the service pack due to the fact i have the latest one on this laptop :( well i hope i find a way to fix it(i am locked out of everything(even safemode, ect) i cant log into the bios or anything.

If you cannot access the BIOS, then Windows is the least of your problem.

I was wrong, it took a little extra work but i was finally able to get into the system BIOS.
