sysedit is not the answer as it is a legacy tool for 4 files (2 of
which are no longer even used) and 2 of which have very little to do
with the "startup options". This was for DOS-Win OSs.
msconfig.exe or another Startup Manger is the esaiset way for most
users. W2K did not ship with msconfig, but you can download it.
If you're comfortable with RegEdit, you can manually change/delete the
entries in the various "Run..." keys in
HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion. There are also similar
entries inder HKCU.
