Hi,
Is there any way I can use Windows 2000 DNS server as
Standart primary and Windows NT 4.0 Server as DNS
seconderies?
I tried doind so but it seems the zone is not transfering
at all ... no errors in the Event Viewer of any sort.
Tried to restart DNS services ... same.
I read sonewhere that this won't be possible since Windows
2000 servers DNS records are more complex.
Wanted to make sure there is no bypass.

As long as the NT4 is SP4 or higher it should work.
Are zone transfers allow to the IP or IPs on the NT4 machine?
If the NT4 is multihomed you will need to allow zone transfers to all IPs on
the NT4.
Make sure 53 TCP is open between them.
