Windows 2000 Workgroups

I need assistance regarding advanced features in Windows
2000 workgroups. RANT: FINDING WINDOWS 2000 WORKGROUP INFO
IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE. How can you setup shares on
workstations that allow all users on the workgroup to view
the files? I have created new local groups, but I had to
add all users on the network to the local computer for them
to see the shares without having to type in a username and
password to access the share.

Also, does anyone have links to websites that cover windows
2000 workgroups, Local Groups, Advanced user settings, etc.

How many computers in question here? Rule of thumb is, more than 5 computers
means it's time for a domain model - then you get centralized admin,
sharing, login scripts, all those goodies.
