I have a computer lab. Half of the computers are 2000 and others are XP. I
have license for XP for all that are currently 2000.
Question: Can I load XP on these computers while 2000 operating system is on
them? Will this cause problems?

With W2k loaded, XP will install with no problems. It will automatically
create a boot menu for dual boot choice. Of course, by default, the XP will
be set to boot. You can change this by modifying the boot.ini file. This
file is hidden and located on the "C" Root Drive.

If you plan to maintain a multi-boot computer, play close attention to where
you install programs. It is best to keep the Program Files separate,
therefore, installing software twice, (for each OS) if you want both
Operating System to use them.

Good luck.
