Hello,
I have posted on this topic before. I have a Windows 2000
Server setup as a domain controller.The time changes
itself to 30 minutes from the current time after . i.e. if
the time is 9:30 a.m. Mountain Time then whenever I
changes to 10:00 a.m. after a little while. Of late I have
notced that the time on the server keeps increasing, i.e.
the server is 1 hour and 19 minutes ahead of the correct
time right now. Has anyone known about such an issue with
Windows 2000 server or is it a hardware issue I need to
check in the BIOS. I have a Dell Power Edge 2600 server. I
have checked the following in the registry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\TimeZon
eInformation
and verified that the Reg_Sz string
"StandardName"="Mountain Standard Time"
and verify that the Reg_Sz string
"DaylightName"="Mountain Daylight Time"
Any help or pointers in the right direction would be
greatly appreciated.
Lakshman.
