Hello

I'm new to Terminal services, so hopefully I won't sound too dumb asking this question. We currently have a NT 4.0 Domain with a Windows 2000 Server operating as a member server. We want to use Terminal Services for an application we are developing.

Question is: Can we use Terminal Services without any problems in a NT 4.0 domain? Or, would it be wiser to upgrade the domain to 2000/2003 before we make use of Terminal Services.

Thanks

Delf

Terminal Services works fine with or without Active Directory or NT4 Domain. If in a NT4 Domain environment the only pitfalls are that the Terminal Services Licensing Service must run on the terminal server (no big deal) and that you can't use Group Policy to lock down the TS

Beware that installing TS on a production server that already has application installed on it will not allow multiple users to correctly run apps that were installed before TS
