My Windows 2000 pc will not startup. It begins startup,
gets to the loading Windows 2000 screen, then a message
about winlogon.exe comes up and the boot starts over. I
cannot get by this. If I try to boot in safe mode, it
does the same thing. I have tried to reload the OS, but
when I get to the screen that wants me to choose between
a new install, repair, or exit, nothing I enter on the
keyboard does anything and I sit at that screen until I
power it off. Any ideas out there?

Bad keyboard? Is it properly plugged in? Can you try another keyboard?
Just to be sure before you dig any farther.

Strange, I can't see why the os wont install from the cd. Do you have
special BIOS software or settings enabled that would cause this?
Antivirus software or things like GoBack? Try booting with a DOS
diskette with cdrom support and then try launching the W2k install.
