I have been teasked with restricting INternet Access on
the one machine in the office running Windows 2000
Professional. In a nutshell, I would like to grant certain
logon ID's access to the internet while preventing other
users... we all use the same PC but have individual
logons. Any idea on how or if this is possible? Thanks in
advance.

For a single machine your best option is to use a personal firewall that can
control access by logon ID. There are other tweaks with content adviser and
proxy settings, but the personal firewall is the only solution I would
trust. Ports Lock is one such firewall and you can try it for free at the
link below. --- Steve
