windows 2000 service pack 3 problem reboot loop

i have a question does anyone know why at my company we
would be having 15 systems running a reboot loop no they
do not have blaster but rather this only happens when sp3
is installed on the system if i return to sp2 they work
fine and dont reboot anymore any ideas what this could be
at all ??????????
 
I have seen the same thing and it is driving me nuts. I
suspect that it is caused by an incompatability between
W2000 and Norton AV.
 
we are using trend AV but we have 2000 systems here and
90% are sp3 and trend with no prob then theres these 15+
systems that keep rebooting
 
i have tried to repair the system with a windows 2000 corp
selcet 2k pro cd with sp3 and tried to just reinstall
ontop of it.
