Jim

We recently installed Windows 2000 Server to our network.
The other computers are either win98 or ME.

One computer requests when connecting to the server, "Ener
Network Password"

I do not know what the password is and why only one
computer requires this since the rest of us have been able
to connect to the server with no problem.

Your advise would be greatly appreciated.

Jim

Is DHCP-server and WINS-server installed on the Server? Do you have options
003, 006, 015, 044 and 046(0x8) in DHCP-server, Scope options?
Did you configure the workstations to logon to the domain?

.
Jim, I would check TCPIP properties of this machine and
see if Client for Microsoft Network is checked. If it is
try changing this to Windows login. This should remove
the password prompt from appearing and allow access.
