Windows 2000 Server Services

I noticed the following service running on my Windows 2000
Server/Exchange 2000 Server: Win Sysinit Service

Does anyone know what this service is and should it be
running on my server?

The service starts up with the system and has the
following path to executable:

c:\winnt\system32\wininit.exe -start

Any suggestions?
