Win 2000 server - I have a problem when the server reboots the mouse works
fine but the keyoard will not let me CTRL-ALT-DELETE to log on to the server
any ideas or helpful hints as to the problem ???

What does work is the screensaver after 15 minutes it goes into the
screensaver I have applied.

But after that I cant get a logon screen with CTRL-ALT-DEL.

thx

Try a different screen saver.

Your problem description implied that the problem occurred after
the screen saver had cut in - hence my suggestion. If the problem
occurs before that point then you should supply more details, e.g.
- What exactly happens when you press Ctrl+Alt+Del?
- Is the keyboard still active? You can tell by operating CapsLock
and looking at the CapsLock indicator.
- Have you tried a different keyboard? PS/2 instead of USB?
- What is the recent history of this machine?
- Can you use the keyboard to get into the BIOS?

Remember - we can't see your server, so it is essential to post
as many details as possible, as every IT-Admin-Guru would do!
