Hello NG,

I have a Windows 2000 Pro. PC with 2 NICs.

NIC1 (to LAN): 192.168.5.99
NIC2 (to DSL-Router): 192.168.2.100

DSL-Router: 192.168.2.1

If I ping from my Client (192.168.5.40), I will get an answer. If I
try to ping my Router, i never get an answer ("timeout"). It will not
routed, right? Can w2k pro route this?

I believe that you need to set up internet connection sharing in order to
accomplish this. Unfortunately I haven't used it for awhile and don't
remember which card you will need to share.

You better put your external nic on a totally different IP-scheme like
10.0.0.x.
Check the bindingorder and make sure the internal nic ios on top.
