windows 2000 professional

I upgraded from 98 to 2000 and did all the updates now when i am in explorer
and click on a hyperlink i end up with a blank box. Can someone help me? I
have already done the start run box to check the regsvr32's and they are all
there.

Win98 and Win2000 are radically different beasts. While
an upgrade often works, it is always a compromise. Much
depends on the condition of the Win98 installation prior to
the upgrade. You may be stuck with some exotic problem
that could be very hard to solve. I would try this:

- Download and install the latest version of Internet Explorer.
- If this does not solve the problem, back up all important
files, then allow the disk to be formatted and install a new
version of Win2000. You will end up with a far more
stable and robust installation than what you currently have.
