I have a small wireless network at home. I have created
accounts for my family on my computer. My problem is that
whenever I install a program with my Administrator
account, the program is not available to other users of my
PC. For example, I tried placing an icon of the program
I've just installed on the programs folder of the other
users, then I logged on as one of the other users and
clicked the icon but a very long error message appeared.

Can someone please tell me how to accomplish this. How to
make programs that I install with the Administrator
account available for other users of my PC.

Thanks in advance

Some programs are designed that way by default. A lot of anti spam programs
especially, I find. This is because they expect you to purchase a
license/copy for each user.

In most cases, you can log on as the user, hold down the shift key, and
right click on the setup icon. "run as" should appear on the menu, click it
and install the program as the local administrator.

I have only encountered one program that would not install by this method.
