Windows 2000 pro profile problem

I have a laptop that will allow one user to login without any problems. When
another user loggs on we get stuck at loading personal settings. I have
tried unplugging the laptop from the network and same result. I let the
laptop go overnight thinking it needed to copy a profile but still no luck.
We have tried popping the laptop in/out of the domain. DNS settings are
fine. Any thoughts?

Sounds like a corrupted profile. Rename the second user's
profile folder in order for a new profile to be created.
