I have Windows 2000 Pro installed in a 2gig partition.
After upgrading to Service pack 4, there is no space left
on the partition and I want to move the operating system
to a larger partition. I do not want to have to create a
new installation and re-install all the other software on
the computer, but accoding to Microsoft Support copying
Windows 2000 to a new partition is not supported because
of hard coded paths.
Would copying the OS to a new larger partition work if I
were to change the drive letters afterwards? Is there
another simpler solution?
Thanks.
