Windows 2000 pro logon error

I keep getting this message"the system could not log you
on. Make sure your user name and domain are correct, then
type your password again. It won't let do anything else. I
never vreated a username or password. How can I fix this?
Help!!!!!!!
 
You did create a user name, there is no way not to have a user name as there
will, at the very least, be a user called "Administrator." This is the
defualt administrator account from when you installed the machine. A lot of
times people will not provide a password when they first install so trying
using administrator as the username and just leave the password blank.

Try logging on with the administrator account using the password you chose
at the time of install. (possibly blank)
