Dan

I am having a couple of problems while setting up a
network between windows 2000 pcs, with no one box being
the server. I ran through the networking tutorial and set
up the workgroup and everything was working fine, I had
shared a couple printers and there was even one printer
that was not attached to any computers. I have now moved
my office around and along with that have moved the pcs.
Now, for some reason I cannot view my other two computers
from my computer, and I can't connect to the new printer
when I try to. i do not know what is going on with that

Another problem I am having is when I try to share my
internet connection. The one printer that is not hooked
up to any computers but directly to the network stops
working when I try to set up the internet connection. But
the internet connection does not work either. I can not
figure out why this is and have tried many different
things like obtaining the ip address automatically and
giving the pcs and printer my own ip addresses. You have
to input an ip address into the printer when you set it
up. This printer is a Xante colour screenwriter and we
use it to produce shirts at our store. If someone could
be of some assistance i would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you in advance.

Got File- and printersharing loaded? Is Netbios over TCP/IP enabled? Do all
useraccounts exist on all W2K's?
How are you connecting to the internet?
