Hi All,

I have a network consisting of 2 PC's running win2K Prof.
One belongs to me and the other to my roomate. Our
Internet connection is set up in the following manner:

Road Runner -> Linksys Router (4 port) -> PC's

We have two IP addresses. The problem is that I cannot see
his computer when I go to Network Neighborhood. We want to
share folders and drives. I have enabled sharing of our
respective hard disks.

All help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Mathew

Make sure that you both have your computers in the same workgroup.

To do this:
Right click MY COMPUTER
Click on PROPERTIES
Click on the NETWORK IDENTIFICATION tab
Click on the PROPERTIES button
Select the WORKGROUP radio button and type in a simple name like HOMENET or
something.
Reboot
