When we log in to our corporate network everyone seems to
be getting authenticated through a windows 2000 Domain
Controller at another location. How can I change it so
that we use one of our two Windows 2000 DC's here at this
location?

Brian,

Please consider setting up Sites and then the appropriate
Subnets and then associating each Subnet with the
appropriate Site within the Active Directory Sites and
Services MMC. This will help to control this.

Please take a look at the following MSKB Articles:

How a WIN2000 Client locates a Domain Controller:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;en-
us;247811

How a WINXP Client locates a Domain Controller:

How to Optimize the location of a DC / GC:

In the middle of above article there is a discussion of
exactly your situation. It is the "generic" - or non
site specific - record.

This may be helpful. It is about Global Catalogs and may
or may not apply to this question.
