I've been working on a PC that has been rather frustrating
for me. When the user prints anything from the internet,
it only prints on the first half of the page, then prints
the rest on the next and so on. Always printing on just
the first half of the page. I checked the page setup in
Internet Explorer. Sure enough, the bottom margin is set
for 5 inches. I try to change it back to .75, but as soon
as I press ok, it changes back to 5 and the window
disappears. I tried reloading IE and the print drivers.
It does this with a Laserjet 4Mplus and an Okidata impact
printer. Just for the heck of it I looked at Wordpad...
same thing. It has a 5 inch lower margin as well. I
found a key in the registry where I can set it to .75 and
I have done that. When I do that though, it still prints
with the 5 inch lower margin. I'm at a total loss here.
I can't find any information about where the default
margin information is located. I've tried changing to
metrics. I've tried changing the locale on the machine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
