hello all,
i recently followed the steps involved in
microsoft knowledge base article - 278295 which shows how
to lock down a windows 2000 server session. After
completing this i realised i must gain access to the c:
drive again. Is there any way i can either reconnect to
the c; drive or undo the changes i have made. The changes
i made have also taken effect in my administrator account.

many thanks,
mal

Just undo:
Prevent access to drives from My Computer (Enable this setting for A through
D.)

Hello Jonathan,
I have locked down the whole system which limits access
to all folders. Access is only to the programs that are
required to be used.I cant even gain access to the run
command or the active directory users and computers. Any
ideas?

many thanks
Mal

Can you get to cmd.exe?
If so, type "mmc.exe gpedit.msc" at a cmd.exe line

Surely you didn't include the administrator account in this restricted
environment did you? If not can't you login as Admin and undo the policy
changes?
