I need MAJOR help. I have a Windows two-thousand CD and no product
key. I cant exit the setup and restart my computer, the setup
restarts. And, if I put in a CD with the "key-seeer" on it, I cant use
it because setup begs for its CD. Can anyone help me? I all ready
tried Googleing it but I got a website and none of the codes worked...

PLEASE HELP!!! I WANA USE MY 'PEUTER!!!! :)

Try starting your PC in Safe Mode. If you can then you can
extract the product key with one of these programs:

http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder.shtml
http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html

If not then you may have to buy a new copy and treat
this unfortunate event as an expensive reminder of the
warning that is printed on every Windows CD case:
"Do not lose this product key". It's a good idea to
record all product keys on a spreadsheet that you
print out from time to time and keep in a safe place.

Pegasus,

The user doesn't have a product key so trying to retieve one that wasn't
entered during setup is impossible as it doesn't exist

If the OP has a key & going into safe mode to retieve it may not work
either. You could always export the said registry key & paste in the binary
key into one of those programs, if they accept it from a raw source.
