I support schools and one of our middle schools now has a
windows 2000 system which displays everything upside down.
It didn't always do this (and I can use the monitors built
in control settings in the normal display) so I guess some
wonderful child has found an easter egg?, hacker program?,
magic keys? - something to make this happen. I would
appreciate it if anyone has any ideas how to get the
display rightside up again.

Thanks

You should have a Ghost ISO on hand for just such as this.
It's gonna get more complicated.
Sorry, I don't have any other solution than to do a Repair installation.

good computing,

It's a "Southern Hemisphere" monitor. Please pack it up and send it to
me in New Zealand.....

[Sorry, couldn't help myself....]

Some nVidia drivers have the facility to rotate the display. Look around in the
display properties under "Advanced" for NVRotate.

same here, im sure this is due to intel graphics card. intel driver provides
this feature.
look intel icon in control panel or press ctrl + alt + up or down arrow key.
