would it be safe to delete the \winnt\addins\tmp
directory under windows 2000? This directory (with all
of it's subdirectories (named +01+, +02+, etc) is taking
up 44 gig (not a mis-type) of space but I am uneasy about
deleting it.

thanks.

With no applications and or installs running and after restart, you can
delete the files from the %temp% directory but not the directory itself.

My machine has \WINNT\addins, but it contains only one file and there's no
tmp subdirectory. I'd try moving that directory somewhere else. If
nothing complains, it can be deleted.
