I work for a registered charity that has suddenly
developed a problem with one of the client computers
currently running Windows 2000 Professional. It has
suddenly become unable to access files on the server
running Windows Server 2000. I can log on but if I try to
access files that have previously not presented a problem,
I get the error message "no logon servers available to
service logon request". However, I can access all the
shared files and printers on the client computer from the
server. Any ideas?

You are probably seeing a failure in DNS Resolution internally. Did anyone
make any changes recently? Make sure that the clients are pointed to an
internet DNS and Wins Servers to resolve and be able to login.
