Can I use windows 2000 DNS server as a cashing server if
the primary dns is my ISP server (will it be able to get
the DB from a unix DNS server)?

I don't know about using it for cash :-), you probably won't get much. But,
if you want to use it for a caching server, it would be better if you point
all machines to it for DNS that way its cache would be better refreshed. You
can set your ISP's DNS as its forwarder on the Forwarders tab.
If you use your ISP's DNS yours won't get queried much and if you are using
an Active Directory domain, you'll get a boatload of errors.

It worked by pointing all the internal DNS to the external
DNS as a forwarder and configure the ISP DNS as the
forwarder for the external DNS. Thanks for your help
Kevin. It would have been even better if we can use it as
a cashing server :)
