This is simple unbelievable...
Situation:
-1 WinnXP Pro and 1 Win2kPro (ICS host with a cable modem).
-crossover cable connection between the two
-internet connection sharing WORKING WELL
-NETWORKING REFUSE TO WORK

The Computer with WinXP Pro can detect the other computer,
but cannot connect to it.
The Computer with Win2kPro can`t detect the other one...

-On both computer i have the same user accounts
-File and Printer Sharing and TCP/IP installed (note that
ICS works well!)
-On both computer there are shared folders

What now???????

Thx: Solvent

Are any firewalls running? Make sure the XP firewall is
not running on your internal crossover connection. You
can turn it off from the advanced tab of your network
properties dialog box. Other firewalls may need to be
adjusted to allow your internal network to function.
