We have a server, running Windows 2000 Advanced Server, with an 8GB
hard drive and a raid array that gives us about 60GB of space. A lot
of the programs that run on the server are located on C: and are tying
up the hard drive where the Virtual Memory is set. In fact, I am
convinced now that this is why the server buckles under sometimes.

Is it safe to put the virtual memory, either all or part of it, on the
RAID array? The physical RAM in the system is 4GB, and one of the
server applications definitely uses a lot of that.

Yes, it is safe.
If you put all of it on the array, you will NOT get memory dumps when you have a
BSOD.
