Windows 2000 Administrator Password

Is there any way to recover an Administrator Password? Would I need to boot
to the C Drive, then completely delete all the files on the hard drive then
reinstall everything again or is there a simpler way?

If you have access to a second computer it can been done. You have to put
you hard drive in the second computer and set as a slave drive. After
booting the second computer you should be able to see the hard drive under
my computer if installed correctly, remember to change you jumpers. When
you get into the hard drive goto C:\windows\system32\config directory.
Delete the "sam" file. Stands for Security Account Manager. This file
contains all the passwords for all users and administrators. Hope this
helps and remember to back up all files before attempting anything.
