I installed a new Lexmark x6170 all-in-one
printer/scanner/copier/fax on my Windows XP Professional
desktop computer and have "shared" it with my home
network. I want to add this printer to my Windows 2000
laptop. I am using the Windows 2000 AddPrinter wizard
and can see my Windows XP computer but not the shared
printer named "Printer". What do I need to do to
configure Windows XP/Windows 2000 to share this printer?

Make sure that the Win 2000 machine can see shared files on the XP machine.
If it can't you need to get the network sharing configured first.
