Just recently, when I try to boot up Windowns XP
Proffesional, it starts to load and as soon as it get to
right after its done loading, it crashes, and loads the
bios then the loading screen again (with the xp logo and
the moving status bar and what not.) I tried booting up in
both safe mode, regular mode, and last working settings
mode, but nothing works. Are there any alternatives to
reformating my computer, as I never back up my data and my
CD was from a University deal that gave free XP Pro to
certain students, and I have long lost my CD and am not in
a position to go back to the university to get another cd
(long trip). Thanks in advance. For clarity, I never see
the login screen, and the closet to getting past the crash
was a quick glimpse of a blue screen before it crashed.

Without the CD, you actually have no alternatives. The CD would allow you
to try a repair install or possibly install to another partition after which
you could copy your data from the old setup to the new setup.

Under current conditions and given you cannot enter Safe Mode there's
virtually nothing we can offer. Most users, at some point are going to need
the CD, this would be a good time for you to make that purchase.
Unfortunately, you have no choice but to acquire XP Professional which is
more expensive then Home Edition. Also, I can't say whether or not you
could use the XP Pro upgrade version as I don't know if the student edition
is a supported upgrade path for Pro. Also, in the future, if you wanted to
wipe the drive and install XP clean, you would be unable to do so unless you
had some prior Windows CD in order to show proof of a previous OS during
installation.

There's no guarantees even with the CD we could save your setup but without
it, there are no options.

One other point, you cannot borrow someone else's CD for these procedures as
it has already been activated on their setup and a CD key is required to run
either a repair install or if you were to install to a separate partition.
