My desktop and any screen I open is not the full size of
my computer screen....there is a border of black all the
way around, of about 1 inch. How do I fix this? Also, I
can't see below my open window, like if I downsize a
window I can't see to pull it back up, and can't see the
start menu, date/time, etc. Can anyone help me??

It sounds as though your monitor needs adjusting. How you do this varies by
monitor, if you have a manual it may give you instructions but usually there
is a means of adjusting the image directly on the monitor.

It also could be the monitor is dying. Adjustments either
on the monitor or in the display properties.

If you can't adjust, consider having a good monitor/TV tech
check the monitor.

Have a look at the manual that came with your monitor. Look up how to adjust
the "horizontal and vertical width/height" settings. You may also have to
adhust the horizontal and vertical _position_ as well. Sometimes it's
necessary to adjust the width then the position then go back and adjust the
width again as they can interact.
