Window sizing problem

After changing my screensize/resolution temporarily from my normal 1024 x
768 to 800 x 600 for a test, upon restoring it back to normal, many of my
applications will only open to a non-fullsize display when launched, and I
have to make each fullsize every time.
This is driving me nuts.........
Help....

This is an undocumented feature of WinXP, or rather of
apps coded for installation under WinXP which record
window configuration (size) in the hive (Registry) or else
in their own INI files. There seems no OS-wide cure for
all apps.

If you change many settings you have to restart the computer for it to take
effect!
