window opens small

when i click on link the new window opens very small. this just started
happening today. How do fix it ?

Resize the window to your liking and when you go to close it do not use the X
in the upper rt. corner, instead go to the upper lt. corner and click on
"file" and at the bottom select close. You should only have to do this
once,after that the X should be fine to use again.

& that's re-size the window by stretching it out horizontally &
vertically, not by clicking on the upper right that makes the window fill
the screen...
