Hi,

In my A2000 SR3 mdb, the windows in taskbar option is unchecked.

When I distribute the mdb, window names appear on users taskbars. There must
be some way to deal with this programatically by manipulating the options on
user mdb startup ?

I'm using A2000 SR3.

Thanks for any help

Ohhh I see how it is. Use me as a case study! ;-)

<lol> It's your fault for asking all the right questions.

Actually, it started off with me saying to myself, "I'm sure I used to
know how to do this!" So I googled for it. And then I didn't want to
write both the instructions and the caveats all over again, so -- since
that thread seemed a concise discussion of all the relevant points -- I
decided just to post a link to it.

M.D. too?!!!
Good grief, is there ANYTHING he doesn't do?!!

Dear Jeff:

You must really score bigtime with lines like that! LOL!

You know, Jeff, being used as a case study could be worse! I remember when
one of my teachers held up my major history term paper and used it as an
example for the class of how *not* to write an essay... Imagine it... "So
let's take a look at this database of Fred's : if you want to know how *not*
to do it...." Sort of like the evil twin of Northwind Traders... <g>

Cheers!

P.S. Why, oh, why am I spending time in reading Access newsgroups when it is
September and school has started up again!!?!? I've got lessons to prepare!!
Ack! Must...stop...reading...newsgroups.....

It only works on the REALLY intelligent ones. said:

Ouch!
That's got to put a damper on the 'ol self confidence!

Don't know which one is worse: some MVPs (including myself) sometimes skip
PAID work to read / respond to newsgroups.
