Window Movie Maker

I'm using the Window Movie Maker program to create a video. I inserting the
picture and then save it as wmv. How to convert wmv to dat or mpeg?
 
Sorry Sheren, I don't have an answer, but I too have saved a Movie Maker
video (wmv) file to my HD. Want to burn to DVD but understand I need to save
file as DV-AVI. Does anyone know whether a saved wmv file can be changed to
a different format? How?

Also, have Roxio Media Creator which has a DVD-builder. Can this be used
to burn a Movie Maker video to DVD?

YES - In WMM,
Open WMM, inport the wmv file, then drag to Storyboard,
select "save to my computer"
In the ensuing dialog select to save as DV-AVI and to the required folder!
