window mail

Ok folks,I do work in IT. but have hit an issue that is driving me nuts. I
setup email account on windows mail all is working well and then i try to
import outlook express email i go through all the steps but the folder with
the email shows up empty. i rename it and still the same i move it to desktop
still the same. i can import address book ok. i can view the folder and see
inbox, sent mail, and all the above. but i if i go through the import feature
the folder shows up as empty.we are not talking about one computer here or
one model. Am i missing a step.thanks in advance.

You saved the OE back-up folder to your vista hard drive, did you remove the
read only attribute?
