Window doesn't open length-wise enough to use buttons

Many times the window is too big to fit on my screen. The scroll down button on right doesn't even take me down far enough. An example is my viruscan program. When I open the window to pick what I want to scan, the begin scan button is too low; I can't get to it. Drag the window up to the top doesn't work either. The button is still off the screen below.
 
Try adjusting the width and height controls on your monitor.
