Windows Defender features: Protection features for all users, whether or not
they have administrator rights on the computer
For Window Defender team try using Window Defender on Window XP SP2 with
Limited account and change the Internet Explorer 7 Homepage(make sure that
you have advanced membership selected). result is No Apply Action
button(greyed out), No selection to permit and deny and a stuck Window
Defender icon with ? on notification area.
no point of alerting user about homepage change if Window Defender will
automatically permit the Homepage change. all your doing is giving me icon
with blue ? stuck on my system tray
Also when log in with Limited Account try using Runas command with Window
Defender look at the error message with numbers. Access Denied
i posted this bug several times during the first release of Window Defender
beta.
