Window 2000 Professional / Office

Running the beta on Win2k professional. I have Office 2k
as well. Every time i run the scan, it keeps asking to
install Office 2k premium components. I have to click
cancel three or four times to finally get the scan to run.

Any thoughts on why? Seems like this is more like spyware
to detect non-genuine installs (which this is not, by the
way) than a useful tool.
 
I understand your comment, but I think this is highly unlikely.

This sounds more, to me, like a Windows Installer issue. I've seen a couple
of these in this beta, but they were related to product installation--not
scanning.

I'm trying to remember the O2K repair options--can you run a repair--is
there one offered via Help, about--or somewhere in either the menus or the
control panel entry--to see if after such an operation these prompts go
away?

I could also imagine that perhaps the software is attempting to query office
through some interface which isn't installed, but I don't remember seeing
office-related stuff in the agents--but there are a lot of them--it could
easily be in there.
