Althought i heard this from a third party I just wanted to
make sure I will not be having any future problems. I
heard that if your running Windows XP and you install
office 2000, you will have problems in the future. I
heard that since office 2000 is DOS based and since
Windows XP is not DOS based, problems will start happening
in the future taht could cause your machine to crash. My
concern is that I just purchased a new Toshiba lap top
with windows XP home edition this last weekend. I just
installed Office 2000 and although the software all seem
to run very well, I just wanted to ensure that it ok to
continue running Office 2000 without having to upgrade to
the XP version of office.
